Soil Capital incorporated regenerative agriculture practices such as cover crops, integrated pest management and a focus on proper compost, into a greenhouse operation in the Netherlands. While this is an unusual move in a greenhouse, its environment enables regenerative measures to have a fast impact.

Greenhouse operations tend to simplify operations as much as possible, which includes reducing biodiversity. However, it is by increasing the layers of biodiversity above and below soil that a greenhouse will increase its productivity and profitability. Think diversified cover crops and grazing, even inside greenhouses!
